Support Filipino Writers

Would the copyright law protect a filipino writer from having his books photocopied (in very poor quality, i might add), scanned page by page, converted into pdf files, and uploaded on the internet by a fellow filipino?

With the kind of support filipino writers are getting these days, you’d start to wonder:

“Where did all the great minds go?”

Yes, it would. Copyright law become pretty standardized across the world, at least in most regards, and I feel certain that the Philippines are included in the spate of international treaties that cover this.

In short, if the person wants to pursue the infringement, they would have the right.
